Tobruk Crescent
Four two-storey houses with full basements on one established Williamstown crescent. The first was built for the family. The next three came by word of mouth from people on the same street who wanted a similar build.
Four basements on one crescent.
Basement excavation on an established suburban street is the part of a build that goes wrong expensively. Retention, drainage, neighbouring footings, water and access all have to be resolved before anything goes up, and the street gives you no room to stage it.
Sun Homes built the first house for the family. The next three came the way work on a street usually does: people who had watched the build, or heard about it, asked for something similar on their own lots, and Sun Homes made it happen four times over on the same crescent.
Why it counts.
A basement build on an established street is watched by every neighbour, every day, for the best part of a year. Three more commissions from the same crescent are the reference that matters: the people closest to the work chose the same builder.
